All of the playlists selected for updating
I don't want to watch a full season in a row, I want it shuffled at random! They used to work fine, but now it selects full seasons at random, rather than 25 episodes from all the seasons at random. When I switched i Cloud Music Library on, I chose to delete any existing content. I have had the problem since i OS 11 released, on both an i Phone 7 Plus, and now currently my i Phone X.I wasn't told to, I just thought this would be the simplest option, rather than it performing a complicated merge.5. Both have had full restores from backup, as well as a fresh "set up as new phone".if i change the preferences to selected playlists only, will it erase all my songs and replace them with the stuff only on the playlist or will i still be able to control what goes on my ipod and leave the stuff on it alone?my preferences are set to manually manage songs and playlists. If you change to that setting, then the i Pod will be automatically updated with whatever playlists you have selected in i Tunes, and the current songs on it will be erased. If you change to that setting, then the i Pod will be automatically updated with whatever playlists you have selected in i Tunes, and the current songs on it will be erased. I currently have two computers (one for work, one for home) and a phone.
If your Smart Playlist criteria call for "at random," that is what you will get.The actual songs in the playlist don't seem to be syncing at all.The same thing happens if I go the other way (making a playlist on my home computer and trying to play it on my work computer later).Let's say I create a new i Tunes smart playlist and tell it to give me the following: Rating is greater than 3 stars. When I right-click on the smart playlist name (or icon), there's an option to update the smart playlist... i Tunes keeps the same ten songs instead of updating it with 10 different random songs. i Tunes gives me a smart playlist with 10 random songs.
